Join EDC at CIES (March 5-9)
Join EDC development specialists at the Comparative International Education Society (CIES) Annual Meeting. This year’s meeting will explore the theme “Problematizing (In) Equality: The Promise of Comparative and International Education.” It will be held March 5–9 at the Sheraton Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
CIES attendees can choose from among several EDC sessions to learn more about our initiatives and impact in education, youth development, and workforce training, including:
- Using our new digital tool Vernacular to support literacy in classrooms and communities
- Examining gender and violence in education
- Expanding education while working in conflict and crisis environments
- Measuring soft skills for girls, individuals with disabilities, and rural populations
- Making the case for early-grade reading
