EDC experts will be taking part in the 52nd annual American Association of Suicidology (AAS) conference in Denver, CO, April 24–27. More than 1,500 suicide prevention professionals—including advocates, health care leaders, researchers, crisis center representatives, suicide attempt survivors, and those who have survived suicide loss—are expected to attend this year’s conference.
Join EDC for presentations on such topics as improving state infrastructure, prevention in primary care, community engagement and capacity building, messaging in the entertainment and news industries, and much more. Several sessions will highlight real world implementation success stories. EDC will also host two exhibit booths (101B and 102B).
This year, EDC’s Jerry Reed, Senior Vice President for Practice Leadership, will be honored with the Louis I. Dublin Award, a lifetime achievement honor for outstanding contributions to the field of suicide prevention.
