Michelle Lanier, EDC training and technical assistance (TTA) associate, has over 12 years of experience in technical assitance, training, performance monitoring, and quality assurance for evidence-based home visiting programs. She brings extensive expertise in family engagement, intimate partner violence, and strengths-based practices, including motivational interviewing. A certified addictions professional, she has over 15 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy for children and adults impacted by substance misuse.

As a key member of EDC’s Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center team, Lanier provides TTA that builds awardees’ capacity to deliver high-quality home visiting services. Before EDC, she served as the Georgia MIECHV’s TTA team director. In this capacity, she directed a team of training and TA providers and oversaw all data, performance monitoring, and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Lanier holds an MS in Public Health-Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health and a BA in Anthropology from New College of Florida. She is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
