Creating Employment Opportunities for Youth

In Rwanda, a youth workforce development project created by EDC called Akazi Kanoze will continue to operate as Akazi Kanoze Access, a locally run nongovernmental organization. Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, Akazi Kanoze trained 20,000 youth and helped create 2,500 new businesses over the course of its seven years in operation.
