Raising the Age to Purchase Tobacco in St. Louis

EDC research supporting raising the tobacco sales age as a way to curb teen smoking continues to enter policy discussions in states and cities across the country. In St. Louis, lawmakers are considering a proposal to increase the minimum age for tobacco purchases to 21 years of age from the current 18.
