Melanie Adler, award-winning senior instructional designer and experienced content strategist, has extensive knowledge of prevention science, substance misuse prevention, adult learning principles, and e-learning. A skilled writer and marketing manager, she has produced hundreds of high-quality, engaging products for diverse audiences.
Adler brings a unique blend of content knowledge, technical prowess, and management expertise to her work. As a products and marketing director on multiple EDC projects, she draws on her strategic planning and communication skills to lead diverse teams in translating complex concepts into compelling resources, courses, feature articles, and videos. Her online courses have received Platinum and Gold eHealthcare Leadership awards from Plain-English Health Care.
Adler specializes in showcasing community successes through stories that highlight innovative approaches to reducing pressing behavioral health problems. This includes work with the Framingham Recovery-Friendly Workplace Initiative and on NY Cares Up. She co-developed the Eyes on Bullying Toolkit and the Connecting Generations, Strengthening Communities Toolkit.
Adler holds an SM in health and social behavior from the Harvard School of Public Health and a BS in biology from Wesleyan University.
